JONES HIGH SCHOOL: TOP OF THE CLASS
Have you heard?! Jones High School made Newsweek Magazine's list of the Top U.S. High Schools !! The ranking is based on the ratio (named the Challenge Index) of the total number of Advanced Placement, International
Baccalaureate or Cambridge tests taken by all students at a school in 2007 divided by the number of seniors graduating in May or June. All public schools that
achieved a ratio of at least 1.000 (meaning they had as many tests in 2007 as
they had graduates), are put on the list on Newsweek's website. Only five percent
of the approximately 27,000 U.S. public high schools managed to reach this
standard!
This is Jones' FIRST TIME EVER making Newsweek's list !! We ranked 1227
with a Challenge Index of 1.132. CONGRATULATIONS TIGERS ON A JOB WELL DONE !!.
